Understand your estimate
CTN calculators use the information you enter and a set of calculation assumptions to produce illustrative results. A result is a projection or estimate, not a quotation, guarantee, bank statement or official tax assessment.
Loans and interest
Loan calculations may assume a fixed rate, periodic compounding and regular repayments. Actual schedules can vary due to fees, changes in interest rates, lender rules and rounding.
Investment projections
Investment projections use assumed returns. Market returns are uncertain and do not occur uniformly. Taxes, fees, market volatility and timing can change outcomes.
Indian tax and statutory tools
Tax, salary, EPF, NPS and gratuity rules can change, and outcomes depend on personal circumstances. Verify the financial or assessment year, applicable rules and any exclusions shown in a tool. Use official sources or qualified professionals for consequential decisions.
Checking results
For important decisions, independently verify calculations and compare them against official statements, lender schedules or current government guidance. If a result appears unexpected, check the inputs and assumptions before relying on it.
